WHO: Bearly Loaded. a low poly brown bear dropped into the default grey test level of a game that never came out, so the level designers had something to walk past.
2003: the rig was finished. the idle animation was "coming in the next build". he went into T-pose to wait. arms out, palms down.
SINCE: 41 patches. every set of notes says "fixed bear T-pose". every build, there he is. somewhere along the way it stopped being a bug and became a stance.
TODAY: the studio is gone. the game is gone. the grey grid is still here and so is he. he is asserting dominance and he does not know how to stop.
ACCURACY: 3 out of 4. he is a bear, he expected it, he received nothing. the animation part is still pending.
pick an animation in the viewport and press LOAD ANIMATION. the bar gets to 97%. it always gets to 97%. then something goes wrong and he snaps back, a little bigger and a little closer.
votes are advisory. the bear is not listening. he cannot turn his head.
waiting for a mint. the numbers start the second he exists on chain. until then he is only in T-pose, not on a chart.
QA found him in every level, including levels he was never placed in. click one, keep it.
rendered live from the recovered rig, 1,2xx polygons. we checked every bone. none of them bend.
the T-pose stays. we tried. see patch_notes.log.
rendered in your browser. your bear never leaves your device.
